About The Red Aeroplanes

If your fear is of having reluctant dancers looking more bored than delayed passengers in a Gatwick departure lounge, then now is the time to fly with The Red Aeroplanes. Accepting the danger of flogging a dead metaphor, we believe that there is no-one better than this power pop-rock trio to pilot you to a cloud nine dance floor, and get even the most ground-loving guests flying off their feet.

The Red Aeroplanes line-up consists of drums/backing vocals, guitar/lead vocals and bass/backing vocals, and has a repertoire stretching from Hot Chocolate to Coldplay. As well as playing 'covers' they also have an original's act which is currently being chased and lauded by music business moguls including top record companies and Radio 1 DJs. But whether in their originals guise supporting the likes of Snow Patrol or The Stranglers, or in their covers mode, performing at a birthday, bar-mitzvah, wedding reception or corporate function (clients include Marks and Spencers, Natwest, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Sainsbury) they will always go the extra (air) mile (sorry!) for their audience.

The band supply a state of the art PA system with a dedicated sound engineer brought along to mix the music for a perfect sound 'front of house'. This means that The Red Aeroplanes are suitable for venues with noise issues. A quality lighting rig and recorded background music played whenever the band are not performing live completes the perfect package for an evening's entertainment. The Red Aeroplanes generally play two one-hour or three 40-minute sets, but times can be altered to suit the function. For an additional fee they can also provide a singer and pianist for wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions.

What People Say:

"Thank you so much to the Red Aeroplanes for helping make our day even more special! You were always so so helpful and everyone LOVED your performance! We didn't stop dancing! !"
Joane Alves Gomes - wedding reception - Hampshire - November 2013

"Couldn't really have asked for any more from the band, they were absolutely fantastic, great vocals and they really got the party going! Only negative was that they had to finish and leave!"
Simon Helyar - wedding reception - Oxfordshire - May 2011

"Phenomenal voice! I couldn't get my head around how the singer could imitate every band they covered perfectly. They were so much fun and really made everyone laugh between songs. Not only that, but the keyboard player went round the party afterwards showing us the most incredible magic tricks!"
Helen Wilsen - corporate function - Bath - September 2009

"I couldn't believe it when they all swapped instruments and carried on playing through the night! It was amazing!"
Harry Jackson - function - Surrey - August 2009

"The tightest act I have ever seen. I would recommend them with out a shadow of a doubt. It took about twenty seconds of their first song 'I feel good – James Brown' before the entire party was up and dancing."
Dan Willis Clarkson - birthdayparty - Winchester - July 2009
