About The Motorways

The Motorways are a fantastic 3-5 piece band who started out performing their own songs before venturing into the covers scene. After their first season playing tons of lively apres-ski gigs in Meribel, they realised that they had found their true calling entertaining crowds with faithful, yet somehow unique, versions of classic party songs. They have a huge repertoire, and play a great range of floor-fillers from the 60's to present day.

The band have bags of experience in the world of weddings and functions, and have written, performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in Pop and Rock. Individual band members have worked with The Feeling, 10cc, Squeeze, Brian May, Nelly Furtado, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Jamelia and Willl Young amongst countless others. They have performed in many locations all over the world and have mastered every musical style thanks to their wealth of experience performing in tributes to the music of Queen, The Beatles, Sting, Kylie Minogue, Green Day, Scissor Sisters and many more.

The 3-piece version of the band is fantastic, and the 4-piece adds keyboards for further versatility and a fuller sound. You can also add either a sax player or a fabulous female vocalist for the ultimate package. In any configuration, The Motorways never fail to fill the dance floor and cater to people of all ages.

The band can provide background music and also have their own high quality PA and lighting system...all of which makes for a jam-packed evening of non-stop entertainment.

Louisa Bill - wedding reception - Essex - May 2015

"The act played a good variety of music so guests of all ages were up dancing. They also played our first dance song which was not on their playlist which we really appreciated."
Stephanie Parish - wedding reception - Kent - September 2013

"The band were fantastic- really nice bunch of guys and they really knew their stuff. Got the dancefloor at our wedding filled straight away and their renditions of each song were superb. They even played a song for our first dance that was not on their list, which was great and played very well. I would really recommend these guys to anyone who like the genre that they play and would probably hire them again for other events if the need arises. Thanks!"
Tom Sampson - wedding reception - West Sussex - August 2013

One couple who had recently got married said that if they'd known about these guys, they would have booked them for their wedding - and their band was great too, so that was high praise! In general, they were also just really nice, polite, professional guys. They kept everyone dancing all night, which was just what I wanted."
