About Lost In Music

Lost In Music are a six-piece live band with a difference. As well as appearing as a conventional party band playing a varied selection of 50s to 2000s hits, they can if requested change into costume for the last set and appear as one of seven themed shows covering the decades of music from the 50s to the 80s, Skool Roolz (a tribute to the school disco, played in school uniform costume, including a headmaster) Madonna or Abba, (seven-piece band needed).

The band’s members are all highly experienced professional musicians and consist of a female lead singer, male lead singer, drums, bass/vocals, guitar/vocals and keyboards/vocals. These musicians have supported acts such as Robbie Williams, Steps, Sash, Shed 7, Lightning Seeds, Boy George, Showaddywaddy, and have been touring the country and performing at corporate functions for five years. Recent gigs include The Reebok Stadium, numerous universities and colleges, and top London venues including The Forum, The Clapham Grand, The Limelight Club, The Dorchester and Marriott Hotels. Other engagements include, The Georgio Armani Christmas Party and many wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate functions and summer balls.

Lost In Music can perform a set of virtually any length! As a function band they usually play two-one hour sets or three 40 minute sets dressed in smart/casual dress but if requested their last set can be themed in full costumes and wigs for a rousing finale. Alternatively, the band can perform each set as a differently themed tribute with full costumes. If you just want one theme act for a one-hour set this can also be arranged.

Background music can be provided free of charge on CD or minidisc, and the band have their own excellent quality PA system and a full lighting rig. The band can also provide a full DJ service for £280.00 using their own PA which avoids two lots of equipment clogging up the room and offers a library of over 20,000 songs.
