About Funky Soul Brothers

The Funky Soul Brothers do exactly what it says on the tin! This Midlands-based modern funk and soul band are on a mission to cure all dance-shy party goers by prescribing a musical medicine laced with classic chart hits from the The Jackson 5 to Jamiroquai. With an eclectic mix of catchy, funky, soulful and rockin' tunes from across the past five decades, this band guarantees to ‘get up, get on up’ all but the most severely afflicted killjoys!

With a five-piece line-up fronted by a fantastic male vocalist and backed by guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and drums the band's repertoire of well-known songs is guaranteed to get any crowd singing and dancing. All the band are seasoned professionals and they even have a celebrity fan. Publicist for Richard Finch, bass player from KC and The Sunshine Band wrote to them to say that he loves their version of "Get Down Tonight" - and says it's the best he's heard from any band that's performing KCSB covers!

The Funky Soul Brothers can provide background music on iPod when they are not performing, and they also have their own high quality PA and lighting system to highlight the band. The band usually perform two one-hour or three 40-minute sets.
