About The Berkeley String Trio
Formed in 1991, The Berkeley String Trio are a widely travelled trio of professional musicians. The individual members have performed alongside a host of stars including Jose Carreras, Jason Donovan, Cliff Richard, Will Young, Annie Lennox and Lionel Richie as well as participating in numerous recording sessions. They have established themselves as a popular feature at many varied events ranging from festivals to corporate hospitality, garden parties and in particular weddings.
They have played at many top venues including Goodwood House, Claridges, Blenheim Palace, Hampton Court Palace, Cliveden House, Highclere Castle and The Dorchester
Throughout the years The Berkeley String Trio have acquired an extensive and diverse repertoire that can be tailored to suit your special occasion. They are happy to provide subtle background music for your event or play a more prominent role if required. The trio prides itself on providing a friendly and professional service and are able to offer arrangements of your special song or melody if requested in advance.
The trio can play for two, three or even four hours, with the exact playing times and programme to be agreed with the client. For weddings, they can play both during the marriage ceremony and at the reception. Unless otherwise stated, our quoted price is for the trio playing up to two-and-a-half hours over a three-hour stay.
The trio can dress formally or informally to suit the occasion.
