Between them the four members of Cover Story have appeared on over twenty albums, toured with some of the biggest names in popular music - Tina Turner, Bon Jovi and Meatloaf to name but three - and appeared on TV shows all over the world including Top of the Pops, The Big Breakfast and high profile cable and satellite stations including MTV and VH1.
Formed in 1988 the band took no time to consolidate their position as one of the top acts on the club and corporate circuits with frequent trips to the Middle East and Europe and a growing list of satisfied corporate clients including Virgin, British Airways, Nortel and Peugeot. Cover Story have also performed at numerous private parties and wedding receptions, where they can always be relied upon to keep the dance floor packed.
The band use all the latest digital technology, so that despite their guitar line-up you would be convinced there must be a keyboard player or two and an orchestra hidden away in the wings. With their three lead vocalists, another of Cover Story’s strong points is the second-to-none quality of their main and harmony vocals.
Cover Story have their own PA system and lighting rig and normally play three 40-minute sets or two one-hour sets. Like nearly all our bands, Cover Story can also provide pre-recorded music during their breaks and after the performance has finished at no extra charge, but unusually they can mix these tracks to your own specification, providing a list of over 300 classic party songs from which you can make your selection. Of course, if you prefer you can leave the choice of tracks up to the band.
