The Rollerskates are a professional four-piece covers band, consisting of bass/lead vocals, rhythm guitar/vocals, lead guitar/vocals, and drums. With a thirst for entertainment and a passion to perform, they are certain to fill the dance floor and leave your guests calling out for more, with their wide repertoire of hits of all temperatures from the Arctic Monkeys to Hot Chocolate.
The band has performed at top function venues all over the country, for large corporate events, parties and wedding receptions. Between them they have also worked alongside a host of big name artists including Chris Martin, Bobby Davro, James Fox, Hannah Spearrit (S Club 7), Darren Day, H from “Steps”, Marti Webb, Vince Hill, Edina Menzel, Linda Nolan and Sinead Quinn. Members of the band have also supported Nelly Furtado, The Feeling, Editors, Journey South, Bucks Fizz and Boney M, travelling to some fantastic places such as Cannes, Paris, Tunisia, Sardinia, Monaco, Barcelona, Fiji, Holland, Malta, and Austria. They have also had the opportunity to perform in some exciting and spectacular venues like Blenheim Palace, The Royal Festival Hall, Murrayfield Stadium, Cardiff International Arena, The Hammersmith Apollo and Madam Tussauds, where even the waxworks looked as though they were getting into the groove!
The band can provide background music on CD and also have their own high quality PA and lighting system. They usually perform two one-hour sets or three 40-minute sets although this can be extended for an additional fee.
