The Groove Factory are a high energy, party band performing classic soul/dance music from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. The regular band is a six-piece unit with lead vocals, lead guitar and vocals, keyboards and lead vocals, bass guitar, drums and saxophone. Where a smaller band is required, a five-piece line-up without saxophone is also available.

The Groove Factory are dedicated to creating a party atmosphere wherever they perform and believe close interaction with the audience is an essential ingredient for a successful evening. Made up of experienced, professional performers, Groove Factory’s superb delivery aims to create a vibrant party atmosphere and a busy dance floor.

Individually the band members have played in many top bands including, The Van Morrison Band, The Human League, Sade, Chic, Sister Sledge and many more. Together, they have performed at private functions and corporate events at top venues such as The Park Lane Hilton Hotel, The Dorchester, The Savoy, The Cafe Royal, The Intercontinental Hotel, and recently played in front of 9,000 people at a millennium night party.

The band play for around two hours plus encore and bring their own full professional lighting and PA system. The band can also play background music on CD, cassette or minidisk when they are not performing.
