Amber Soul is a funky party band with a broad repertoire ranging from the 60s through to the 00s. The band¹s line-up is flexible: from a compact four-piece (guitar/vocals, keyboard, bass and drums), a five-piece band with a female singer, and on to a six or seven-piece with added saxophonist and percussionist. The band can even add more brass up to a full nine-piece.
The band features Mike Allen, the stunning voice of the Braund Reynold’s top 20 chart single “Rocket”, on guitar and vocals. As well as releasing his own solo singles and albums, Mike has collaborated with many top names including Boyzone, Tom Jones, Catharine Zeta-Jones, Gary Numan, Braund Reynolds, and Stereo MCs
Working regularly at prestigious corporate events at locations like Somerset House, Madam Tussauds and Hampton Court Palace, Amber Soul are self-sufficient, providing PA, lighting and recorded music during their breaks.
As well as the party band, for an additional fee Amber Soul can provide a number of extras including a jazz band or a pianist before dinner, and a specialist DJ to end the evening. The band play two one-hour or three 40-minute sets and our normal quote is for a five-piece line-up.
