Paul Moran

Pianists

Paul’s solo piano tracks highlight his more sedate and romantic side. As the house pianist at the famous London restaurant, Simpsons in the Strand, he is one of the capital’s top cocktail pianists with an enormous repertoire covering musicals, pop and jazz.

Paul’s versatility means that he doesn’t stop there. He is also a brilliant jazz organist and with his synthesizers and sequencers - Paul has his own recording studio – he can perform classic soul and dance music from Sister Sledge to Stevie Wonder. He is also a sought-after arranger and musical director, and currently directs Bobby Davro’s backing band.

Paul is a well-known performer in top jazz and dance venues including the Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott’s, and Sound Republic. His private function work has taken him to the US and Spain as well as to pretty well every top West End hotel including Claridges, The Savoy, The Dorchester and The Grosvenor House Hotel.

As well as appearing solo, Paul can bring in other musicians to fill out the sound and for his “sidemen” Paul draws on the cream of British talent including guitarists Jim Mullen (of Morrissey-Mullen fame) and Tim Cansfield (BeeGees), and tenor sax player Duncan Lamont (BBC radio big band regular and stalwart of the London jazz scene).

Our price is based on his performing for about two hours over a three hour stay, and where there is no piano available at the venue, Paul can bring his own electronic stage piano for no extra charge.

Price: from £500
