Lawrence Anthony is the perfect DJ for any age group. Carrying a varied music collection consisting of all the dance floor favourites from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s he also has the ability to mix up a tasty set of Electro/Funky House and Club Classics should the dance floor favour something a bit more upbeat.
Lawrence’s wide experience of DJ-ing has seen him work alongside superstar DJs including Paul Oakenfold and Judge Jules (Radio 1); Tall Paul (Turnmills); DJ Luck, MC Neat, Brandon Block, Alex P and Paul Anderson (Kiss FM); and Roy the Roach and Lisa Pin-Up (Euphoria). Clubs he has DJ-ed at include the world famous Ministry of Sound, Tantra, Emporium, Chinawhites, Bagleys, The End, Legends, Aquarium, The Colliseum, Powerhouse, Iceni, Astoria together with his residency at Beluga.
He has performed at numerous functions including the Black and White Ball at The Royal Albert Hall, and weddings and private parties at The Troubadour, Old Brompton Road; Queen Mary, Embankment; Institute of Directors, Pall Mall; Hesperia, London Victoria; Cannizaro House, Wimbledon and Winchester House, Putney.
Lawrence’s disco equipment uses the very latest technology in audio engineering and lighting. The PA system has been selected to offer superior crystal clear reproduction and punchy bass. The standard system is 1,400 Watts, ideal for events up to 300 people. For larger events Lawrence can offer 3,000 Watts, 5,000 Watts and even 10,000 Watts if required. Lawrence uses state of the art DMX controlled intelligent projection lighting. Many effects are available so he is able to offer lighting packages on a par with top end nightclubs. Lawrence is happy to stay at an engagement for about six-hours playing background music when required and DJ-ing for around four-hours up to 1.00 am.
