The Dillingers are a four-piece band with a mission to bring you the best in cover songs from The Killers, Kings of Leon, and Black Eyed Peas whilst not forgetting to add in the old favourites from bands like Abba, The Beatles and Queen.
Although a new band, these guys have a great pedigree. Their charismatic leader, Andy, is well-known to Function Junction as he is also the lead singer of Loaded, one of our best-selling bands. Andy has achieved numerous plaudits from key players in the music business, most notably rock legend Brian May of Queen. He has also appeared twice on “Eastenders” performing solo in The Queen Vic and Walford Park. The other band members are of an equally high calibre having between them worked with some of the biggest heavyweights in the music industry including KT Tunstall, Duffy, Jools Holland, George Michael, David Bowie, Def Leppard, Nik Kershaw, The Foundations, The Kinks and The Mavericks.
The band’s line-up is male lead vocals/rhythm guitar, lead guitar, drums and bass, and the band members have performed at literally hundreds of weddings, private parties and corporate events all over the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA. Previous clients include, Bentley Cars, BAFTAS, Coors Beers, RAF, Microsoft, Hotel du Vin, The RAC Club, NEC, Hilton hotels, Glaxo Smith Kline, Children In Need and Cancer Research.
The Dillingers can provide background music on CD and have their own high quality PA and lighting system. The band usually perform for three 45-minute sets and provide recorded music in their breaks.
