From The Kinks to Katy Perry and beyond, The New Things cover timeless classics guaranteed to keep all ages happy and get everyone up and dancing. Lead vocalist and keyboard player, Lynsey, has a wealth of experience performing at weddings and corporate events having fronted top function band Clear Cut for many years, before moving on to form her own band with members of The New Things. With a degree in music and the performing arts, and as a regular face on the London club scene for many years, her stagecraft skills are honed to perfection, and with an experienced band behind her consisting of guitar, bass and drums – two of whom also share the lead vocals - you can be sure they will shake your musical timbres!

TV, radio and theatre credits New Things’ members have amassed include Top of the Pops, SM:TV, CD:UK, Des and Mel Show, GMTV, This Morning, The Saturday Show, T4, Pepsi Chart Show, Popworld, Pop, So Graham Norton, Ant n’ Dec Show, The National Lottery Show, Viva, regional BBC radio, XFM, Kerrang FM and Radio 4 and west end shows ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘The Blue Man Group’. Between them they have worked alongside Mark Owen (Take That), Westlife, Mel Blatt (All Saints), Bjorn Again, Holly Valance, Lee Ryan (Blue) and Darren Hayes (Savage Garden) appearing in the UK at The Royal Albert Hall, The Grosvenor House Hotel, The Dorchester, Hyde Park, and in Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, France, Holland, Cyprus, Bosnia, Italy, Hungary, The Falklands, Kosovo, Austria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

For your event the band provide a high quality PA and lighting system, and can provide background music before their performance, during their breaks and after the performance has finished. The New Things generally play two one-hour sets, but times can be altered to suit the function.
