In 1992 a crack beat combo was sent to rock school by a magistrate’s court for crimes against music they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the South Manchester underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as the best party band in the world!!!
Groovy Revolution are a young, dynamic five-piece covers consisting of lead vocals, lead guitar, bass, drums and keyboard. All aged between 21 and 29, they have been together for many years and have been full time professionals for the last four. They perform classic party tunes from the 60’s to present day, incorporating anything from Elvis to MC Hammer, with the emphasis on energy and fun. The band has extensive experience at home and overseas of performing at corporate functions, weddings, parties and universities.
Groovy Revolution are different from other covers bands, in that they’re always fun, unpredictable, and never boring. This is especially evident in their medleys and ‘bootlegging’. If you want something special or out of the ordinary at your venue or event, you should book this band. If you want your guests to dance, sing and laugh out loud, book Groovy Revolution!
Groovy Revolution generally play two one-hour or three 40 minute sets, but times can be altered to suit the function. They have a professional PA and lighting system and can provide background music at no extra charge on CD/minidisc before their performance, during their breaks and after the performance has finished.
