Watch out! The Escorts have hit the streets of London and are already being scouted by top music company EMI. A young dynamic four-piece band comprising lead vocals, guitar/vocals, bass and drums they cover an eclectic range of music spanning pop, rock and soul classics from Stevie Wonder to The Strokes. All of the members of the band have studied music at college and lead singer Dan has a background in stage musicals having performed from an early age in provincial theatres in his native Newcastle.
Between them members of the band have performed nationally and internationally playing in Spain, France and Finland and recently made their TV debut on Sky in a docu-soap. As well as performing in clubs and music venues, their function work has included weddings and corporate receptions in and around London.
The Escorts are happy to learn first dances with sufficient notice and can supply background music on iPod. The band usually play for a total of two hours with one or two breaks and provide a full PA system and lighting rig.
