Steel Tempo have been established for over 25 years, performing nationally and internationally at private and public events of all descriptions including weddings, festivals and parties, performing lively Caribbean music and many other styles such as Latin, jazz and reggae.
Ranging from a four to eight-piece band Steel Tempo provide a colourful, vibrant and visual performance and actively encourage audience participation when appropriate. If requested they can organise a limbo competition for your guests! Over the years they have performed on TV, for royalty, international organisations and toured throughout the world performing in countries including Barbados, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and Austria. They have played at venues from Old Trafford to The Hilton, Park Lane and for clients from British Airways to Prince Edward.
The band usually play two 45 minute, or three half-hour sets within a three-hour period. Their extensive repertoire includes Latin, calypso, pop, reggae, soca, Motown and more. Our quoted price is for an eight-piece band comprising drums, bass and six steel pans - perfect for an evening party where there will be dancing.
