Mango are an acoustic duo, offering friendly and intimate entertainment covering a wide range of styles and moods from mellow background music (such as Norah Jones, Jack Johnson and Eva Cassidy) to more lively tunes from the Beatles to the Scissor Sisters.
The duo members have worked all over the world, including a three-year spell for Princess Cruises entertaining passengers on their luxury cruise ships, before moving to Dubai to work in an exclusive nightclub. Now permanently based back in Leicestershire, Mango can and do play throughout the UK and recent work has included corporate and wedding receptions at venues such as The Ullesthorpe Court Hotel, The Etrop Grange Hotel, Hothorpe Hall, The Platinum Lounge at Manchester United Football Club, various RAF bases, as well as performances at wine bars and other music venues.
The duo features female vocals and acoustic guitar/male vocals. This is an all “live” group and they do not use "Karaoke" backing tracks. Fully equipped with a compact PA system, the duo usually perform two 45-minute sets, and are especially suitable for functions or venues where a larger or louder band would be inappropriate.
