Catherine White has enjoyed a wide-ranging career on both sides of the Atlantic. After winning several prestigious awards in her native USA, she toured widely presenting hundreds of solo and chamber recitals, including playing at Carnegie Recital Hall, as well as concerts at the Lincoln Centre and in and around the UK. Chamber music performances in this country include appearances with the Gaudier Ensemble and the Arietta flute and harp duo. Her TV and radio broadcasts include live solo and chamber music for the BBC, Czech Television and National Public Radio (USA). As an orchestral harpist, Catherine plays regularly as principal with the Ulster Orchestra, as well as performing with many of the major London orchestras, with such distinguished conductors as Sir Simon Rattle and Sir Bernard Haitink.

From Frank Sinatra to the Prince of Wales, she has been honoured to play for celebrities and British and foreign royalty on many occasions. She was resident harpist for over 10 years at London’s Le Meridien Hotel in Piccadilly has appeared at many of the most prestigious venues in London. In addition, she has performed around the world in America, throughout Europe and in Hong Kong. Her solo album, Bouquet for Harp, has recently been released on CD.

Her repertoire ranges from the classics to the great standards of Gershwin, the Beatles and the West End shows. At weddings, she can perform both during the ceremony and during the reception if required. The price quoted is for two hours playing time over a three hour period.
