Advance payment
Why do I have to pay money up front when I book?
Our standard terms require a 50% advance payment when booking an act. This provides protection both to you and the act. Knowing that you have made this commitment, the act will not offer your date to anyone else, and will have some protection if you decide to cancel. To provide you with protection, the advance payment is held in Function Junction’s Client Account and is not paid to the act until they have completed your engagement. We realise that some people are reluctant to pay 50% a very long time in advance of the date of their function, so it may be possible – with the approval of the act – to spread the 50% over two or more staged payments.
